Have you faced a situation to try to execute the bundler behind the proxy and unable to update it. This post explains you how to resolve the issue.
When execute bundle install, you might have seen something like one below:
Fetching source index for `http://rubygems.org/`
Could not reach rubygems repository `http://rubygems.org/`
Could not find gem 'rspec-rails (>= 2.0.0.beta.22, runtime)' in any of the gem sources.
sudo -E bundle install
Go to the system properties (right click “My Computer” > Properties).
In the advanced tab, look for the “Environment variables button”.
Add a variable called http_proxy with the value
Restart your console and you should be good to go.
